Maintenance

Initial Scalping: Scalping is provided at the beginning of the growing season. It removes un-decomposed debris and allows sunlight to penetrate the grass. This service promotes the health and future growth of the turf. Mowing, Edging, Line trimming and clearing of Debris: All turf areas are professionally mowed. All turf areas that meet concrete will be edged, all areas such as tree rings, bedding areas, lawn edging and all other applicable locations will be line trimmed. All debris will be removed from your lawn. Shrub Trimming, Pruning, Cultivation and Weeding: This service includes the hand trimming of all shrubs and ornamentals. The pruning of shrubs to maintain natural shape, cultivation and hand weeding of all bedding areas are also included. Turf Fertilization: The fertilization of turf is accomplished in three applications. The three applications provide nourishment to your turf, as well as strength against disease and weeds.

Irrigation

Design Practices: Designing each system for full coverage. All spray heads provided are designed to minimize evaporation loss. Therefore, minimizing run off and overspray. Landstar Landscape encourages the use of optional Rain Sensors and Freeze sensors.
Compliance: Landstar Landscape complies with the most rigid city codes in the State of Texas meeting water conservation methods.
Consultation: Landstar Landscape will consult with you regarding reduction of water consumption for your system, new or existing, and provide a proposal to save you money on your water bill.
Warranty: Landstar Landscape provides a one year warranty on all materials and labor, commencing on the purchase date.

Plantings: There are many low-maintenance plantings available, fast-growing trees and shrubs help create a natural privacy wall, as well as plants more suited for shady areas. Trees and bushes are guaranteed for one full year.
Rock Gardens: Stones and rocks of all shapes, sizes, and colors are available to enhance your landscape and are very low maintenance.
Stone/Rock Borders: These borders enhance the appearance, and add value to ones property.
Sod: Landstar Landscape provides installation of new lawns as well as sprucing up old ones.
Drainage: Poor drainage areas can be filled to extend planting beds and or redirected to other areas.
Retaining Walls: A visually appealing way to raise a planting bed. Retaining walls are also a good method of erosion control.

Tree Service

Tree Removal: Tree removal is a necessary part of landscape management. It is occasionally necessary to protect the crowded overgrown landscape. Tree removal can be necessary to provide proper growth of other trees on your property or if the tree is hazardous to building structures.
Stump Grinding / Stump Removal: This service is provided when a tree has been removed, and the stump was not removed. Stump Grinding or Stump Removal is a technique performed by a specialized machine and a professional to remove the tree stump and roots 6 to 8 inches below grade.
